Thanks John. A great buy. Not sure if David tasted the same wine.
$12.95 for red Bordeaux, had to give it a try (ok, it isn't classified growth or even associated with a specific AC). Very deeply coloured, almost opaque. The nose is a mix of somewhat off-putting stinky cheese. Fairly full-bodied, with some good ripe fruit, but some detracting earthiness and medicinal notes, along with a noted alcoholic taste. Certainly, an ambitious effort and not terrible, but something has gone a bit amiss in the wine-making process. $12.95 is about right. Spend an extra $5 and get something good. Tasted Feb 2018.
