Excellent Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, High in acidity with a long and lasting finish. On the nose notes of lemon, lime pith, as well as grape fruit and lemon grass are apparent. The palate follows the intense aroma with notes of tropical fruit, lemon and lime. This wine is seriously impressive, amazing QPR. Highly recommended do not miss out!
Just found this wine after discussing it in a wine panel. The fragrance of guava, fresh hay, passion fruit are immediately on the palette followed by some lime and citrus. On the finish there is a lingering warmth, haven't checked the alcohol level but I imaging around 13%. There is also a bit of lingering bitterness, like a grapefruit pith but this is mixed with peach. Peach on the finish, huh? I will buy some of this to have around the house to take to holiday parties.
