Initial aroma of sugar coated fennel seeds (sort of like what is served at some south Asian restaurants), then loads of jammy and reduced dark and red fruit with a heavy dose of oak (vanilla). It will be a hit for those who enjoy new world fruit bombs and oaky cabs, and the finish is very long, but remains on that "sugarfied" fruit and vanilla profile that usually does not express sense of place.
