Deep ruby with thick legs, with a medium+ intensity on the nose.
Complex developing nose of blackberry, Bing cherry, baking spices, cola, leather, vanilla, earthy/newsprint notes and a touch of mint.
On the palate, high alcohol, full body and medium+ tannins, fairly intense but fully balanced.
Flavours follow the nose offering complexity with red berry compote, pepper, dried herbs, baking spices and a medium+ finish.
This is drinking well now; but will easily age another decade.
