This is a modern styled rich and smooth Toscana. If you're not familiar with Toscana blends, they're usually Bordeaux varietals blended with Sangiovese. In this blend Syrah was added (a Rhone varietal). Here's the break down - Sangiovese 60%, Syrah 20% and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon (every vintage may differ slightly). Getting back to the wine, it's rich with black cherry and vanilla with hints of charcoal. It has just enough dry tannins to support the ripeness. Score - Lovely.
