Not sure about the Charles Baudelaire reference for this pleasant summer sipper - Flowers of Evil this is not! :-)

Semi-deep salmon in colour, the nose is immediately more savoury than fruits. Blackberry, bramble, rhubarb, sour cherry.

Dry on the palate, no surprises but pleasant all the way through the medium finish. Same fruits and herbaceous notes, slightly oily finish.

Great with fish and chips, and enough heft to support stronger dishes.
