I'm a fan of South African wine for the bold flavours and rustic flavour profiles. This is a big wine, but has a lot of barnyard on the nose...a little too much for my tastes.
Starts sweet and finishes sour with a burn. It's a simple fruity wine. It's thin and watery on the palate and the acid is quite high. It's not terrible, but it's unbalanced, thin and hot. Blah, a pass for me.
