A really great value and an excellent white for summer - we found the 2007 vintage at our local store marked down to just $7.00! Crisp and refreshing with a light to medium body, medium alcohol (11.5%), high acidity and a slight prickly sensation from a touch of leftover CO2. There are lovely ripe citrus, apple and melon fruit flavours in the 07 - more concentration than I usually expect from a Vinho Verde. Medium length. Grill some fish on the barbecue or have it as a patio summer sipper. Refreshing and delicious. Drink now.
