An opaque red with lifted pure aromas of raspberry and red cherry fruit with some floral notes and mild oak spicy...

Substantial red here, dark and fruity with reasonable oak. This needs a decant for sediment removal and some time to open up. Also needs a "big" dish to pair with. Great buy for $9.90 on the bin end sale, I bought 6 more. 88 plus another point for the value!
A pleasant, well made red from Ribera Del Duero. The "4" on the label is in reference to the number of months that this wine aged in oak. The oak is well integrated and is a background player to the red fruit. Somehow, this wine left me uninspired. It just comes across as a bit lacking in character, an unnoticed face in the crowd. Maybe I was hoping for too much. Anyway, it's an enjoyable drink regardless, just not a multiple purchase for me. Tasted May 2015.
