Notes of plum, black cherry, chocolate, tobacco, and leather. Balanced on the palate with fine tannins.
Opaque ruby. Beautiful bouquet of blackberry, super ripe plum, cedar, vanilla, eucalyptus, baking spices, violets, and lavender. Nice repeat, with some tart cherry and clove spice. Full-bodied with dense tannic structure, but still somehow almost luscious. Long mineral, spice, and floral finish. Would probably be sublime in ten years.

At about 11 years of age, this is still showing some youthful tannin. Concentrated, powerful fruit, well judged oak and a very long finish. Seriously good now, but several years ahead of this for sure. Wonderful. Tasted Oct 2021.
