This one is exactly what I'm looking for when I buy this style of wine. Tawny coloured in the glass, the nose is loaded with notes of black tea, walnut, dried fruit (almost a bit pruny), and the rancio notes that let you know exactly what you're drinking. On the palate, it's quite full-bodied and pretty much dry, though the fruit and alcohol, which is quite warming, make it seem a bit sweeter than it is. The finish goes on and on with with nutty, tea, and dried fruit continuing. As with most other sherries, this is one serious value. At $18, you can't lose. Tasted July 2014
