This is a very light, pale and subtle wine with lovely style and balance, but it is rather limited in flavour lift...

Some garnet creeping into the light ruby almost translucent colour. Red berry nose with spice, cedar and minerality. The palate is savoury, with more red berry fruit, baking spice, pepper, and stoney minerality from that southern PEC loamy clay over limestone. Medium plus acidity, softer smooth tannin and a touch of heat. Very good length. Drinking well now, I wouldn't hold on to this Pinot too much longer. June 2016.
