The 2013 Sattlerhof vom Sand Sauvignon Blanc (100%), aged in stainless steel tanks on lees for 5 months, has attractive aromas of stems, subtle lees, zest and pineapple on the nose and light lees, lemon and pineapple on the palate. It is a light bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine; with good acidity and a medium to long finish. Drink this refreshing wine with food; drink now to 2018. My impression: NICE, 88-89 pts – recommended for its quality and value. Tasted in Apr/14 at 'Tasted with Andreas Wickhoff, Austria’s third Master of Wine, at the Fine Wine Reserve.' http://grapeselections.com/grapeselections/wine-reviews/.
