The 2013 Villa Maria Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc has intense aromas of pineapple, lychee, zest and gooseberry. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry/dry, fruity wine; with crisp, refreshing acidity and a clean finish of medium length. Though food friendly, this wine is quite enjoyable on its own; drink now – 2018+. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 89 pts – recommended for its quality and value. Tasted Jan/14 at dinner at Rosewater Supper Club tasting Villa Maria wines with winemaker Josh Hammond http://grapeselections.com/villa-maria-dinner/
