It's only wine but I like it
Notes for the 2006 vintage of this Chiarlo Barbaresco. Fading brick red, with aromas of faded roses and red fruits. On the palate, sour red fruit, and dried fruits, with still noted tannin and fine acidity. Oak is non-existant. A more traditional style of Barbaresco and that is a good thing in my book. While not top shelf, neither was the price. A nicely done wine that is at its peak now, should hold a few more years. Tasted March 2015.
