This is one of the best sparkling wines out there. Light and delicate on the tongue, yet with so many bubbles you think you're drinking real champagne from Champagne. Great value for what you get!
The 46th edition is a blend of 79.5% Chardonnay, 19% Pinot Nero, and 1.5% Pinot Bianco has fresh leesy and doughy aromas layered over notions of autolytic, savoury, orchard fruit, and ripe apple aromas. It has a very good mouthfeel on the dry, medium-full bodied palate with lovely apple, pear, orchard fruit, and citrusy flavours that come to the fore on the mid-palate. It has very good, vibrant acidity and elegant mousse. Crisp, minerally, and savoury on the long, persistent finish. Tasted Oct. 2024. Score: 91+ pts
