This is a very yummy wine.
Who knew that horse smell could be appetizing, never mind intriguing.
Starts with a nose of wet leather, but in the most appealing of ways.
On the buy Again list for sure. At 15 clams, I have had worse at twice the price and not very often better for less

Lovely aromas of cassis, dark chocolate, and herbs. Full-bodied with lots of dark fruit and softening tannins.
KWV delivers good wine at almost reasonable price (currently this one is on sale for $2 off = $14.95, so the price is pretty reasonable). This 2007 nicely aromatic, fruity to integrated, medium bodied Cabernet displays aromas of vanilla, blackberry and bilberry. The tannins are subtle to refined (decant for 30 min) and the finish is medium. It'll be at its best in 2011 to 2013? Personally I prefer the 06 Merlot or 07 Syrah - much more intense. My impression: NICE. Tasted May/10.
