Therapy has had wonderful success in their Freudian charged range, both the Freudian Sip and Freud’s Ego offer attractive blends. In their cleverly named fortified version, Freudified, they have chosen 65% Syrah and 35% Merlot. This is not as successful as their table range. The distillate sits atop the wine and is noticeable throughout the palate and the sweetness left in the wine struggles to be fresh. An interesting wine to taste, but perhaps future examples will prove more successful.
