The fruit on the nose of this Malbec trends a bit toward being slightly baked/stewed, especially when it comes to the plum, blueberry and prune notes. (Granted, the ash and milk chocolate component adds some aromatic zip.) The purity of fruit on the palate is nice, with blackberry and plum showing well and a dollop of oak adding some depth.
