I like this wine, medium body, fruity
Cherry, spices, and meatiness on the nose. It is very juicy with soft tannins and a medium body, but there are better wines at this price point.
I actually wrote a review before reading the write-up here, but then I read it and found that many of my observations were already listed in the wine's description.
I liked it, pretty much exactly what it said it was (for me.) Tasted January 2014.
Went to bring up a Saint-Julien Cru classe en 1855 from my wine cellar and thought that the chateau on this label was the Ducru-Beaucaillou and wasn't about to go back down and replace it.
Very nice dark berry nose on this. Enjoyed it much more than the $10 Puglia IGTs I've been drinking lately.
