$19.79 at SLGA - uggghh! I've had previous vintages that have had more Rioja-esque typicity than this 09. A fairly straight forward, uninteresting wine yet doesn't give me much else to complain about. Mild vanilla and pipe tobacco with some sweet dark cherry on the nose. Palate has medium tannin and medium acid, short finish. Drink over next 2 years. Tasted Jan '14.
