Elegant blueberry, cherry, raspberry and floral notes on the nose pick up a hint of smoke. It's a medium-plus bodied Sangiovese, with plenty of ripeness to the raspberry and cherry flavours, a dollop of vanilla and some espresso and cola notes in there as well. A fantastic value red that's drinkable on its own or with marinara-based pasta.
