This single vineyard Socre offering is beautiful. Aromatically reticent at first, but blooms wonderfully with some time in the glass. Very complex with rose, red fruit, tea, leather, tobacco, tar, anise, and more. High tannic grip but decant and let is soften or hold for another 5-7 years. So well balanced with judicious oak lurking in the background. Excellent to outstanding length. A fantastic sipper, but will pair well with protein. April 2016.
