Pale garnet red; intriguing, lightly oxidative, earthy, leafy, evolved red berry fruit, very much like old world...
Offers a simple twist of fate from the vinous research control centre in Niagara. Has now gone well beyond...
Pinot meunier is widely used in the background in Champagne, occasionally emerging as a varietal making light reds....

The nose possesses Burgundian funky notes of earth, tobacco, wet leaves, sweet or rotted berries. It has a nice creamy body that adds strawberry jam notes to the palate. It finishes oddly complicated by sweetness & bitter cherry pit. There's no doubt I'd confuse this for a village Burgundy in a blind tasting. Nice stuff, especially for the price.
