Bright gold in colour with a medium+ intense nose.
Positives: Lots going on with this Chard from light smoked toasted oak with a buttery creaminess, lemon, green apple, persimmon, apple crumble pie, peach and limestone on the finish. Medium to medium+ body with good acidity and a long length.
Negatives: None.
Interesting Notes: I like the old style label
Drink now on or over the next 3 years on its own or pair it with lobster in butter sauce

Rich and voluptuous with toffee, ripe pear, peach, and popcorn aromas. Full bodied and lush on the palate with a soft, creamy texture and buttery, baked apple, stone fruit flavours with afaint mineral finish. A tidy seam of acidity keeps it fresh and focused. .

Lots of oak notes on the nose with butter and caramel - these are nicely balanced with apple and pear notes. The palate surprised me as the acidity was quite crisp and there was a lot of fruit flavour. Tasty and interesting.
