Bright purple with a lively aromatic quality. Shows floral, spice, blueberry, mulberry and cranberry aromas. There’s a great deal going on palate-wise too. Very impressive and flavourful echoes from the nose with wellpositioned supporting tannins. Cool this down just a smidge and try it with antipasti. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2012)
