Purchased this and then read reviews on places like cellartracker - this wine didn't place very well, thought I was in for another lame one, turns out I really enjoyed this.
Has that dark fruit/forest floor nose that comes across the same on palate.
100% Barbera / Marly, calcareous soil

Paired with a Dr.Oetker frozen pizza from Safeway which goes by the name Cameo pizza in Italy. Unknown spices marry well with all the modified corn starch
