Monte Del Frà Tenuta Lena Di Mezzo Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2007
Amarone
Veneto, Italy
$48.95 (47506)
The 2007 Lena di Mezzo Monte del Frá Amarone is showing quite a lot of evolution both in the red-garnet appearance and aromatic profile dominated by dried resinous herbs, pot pourri, and dried red berry aromatics, leaning towards a more traditional style. The palate is suave, well balanced, succulent and rich, with very good complexity and generous, but not ponderous, mouth filling texture. Very good to excellent length. A highly successful example; drink now or hold mid-term. 15% alcohol declared. Score: 92 (John Szabo, MS, WineAlign.com, Mar 2013)Critic Reviews (3)
