It's only wine but I like it
The 2005 vintage. Tasted in its 11th year, this left banker is all about finesse and character. No pandering to Parkerization here, at least not to any major degree. Medium bodied, with oak in a well-judged supporting role. A nice mix or red and black fruit, ripe, yet not overly so with hints of cedar and vanilla. Fine tannin and balancing acidity. Really, a lovely red. Drinking quite nicely now, but should keep easily another 5 years, perhaps another 10 for those who like more mature wines. Tasted March 2016.
