This is a dark, closed and earthy Bordeaux, with lifted foresty, tobacco and herbal notes around the black cassis...

A deep and dusty looking red with brick rim. The nose has aromas of chocolate, coffee, tobacco with some greenness and alcohol present. The palate is dry with medium weight and licorice-like tannins. The balance is good with a medium finish. This wine would pair nicely with a steak, rack of lamb, beef carpaccio or hard cheeses. Has some ageability and would consider trying again in 5-7 years.
