Fairly light in alcohol (15 per cent), this is a thick creamy textured liqueur with a sweet egg custard flavour. Egg yolk yellow in colour, it looks and tastes like a thick eggnog. (In Europe there’s an even thicker version available which you eat with a spoon.) Mix it with brandy or rum and serve hot with whipped cream on top for a delicious winter drink.
