The dichotomous Nebbiolo of live rust looks old, as though it has lived hard when it’s actually quite young at heart....

2 hr decant, very nice wine. Fine tannins, soft fruit and smooth finish left

I actually found this wine to be very disappointing. Extremely pale in colour for a barbaresco, the nose is somewhat weak and the flavour profile matches. The finish is dry and acidic. This simply did not compare well to other wines in a tasting flight for me.

Tasted blind at a Beefsteak & Burgundy Club event, May 2015.
