Wow, what a find! Intense, structured, peppery, deeply fruited with excellent depth and a long finish. Wonderful expression of local grapes, with minimal interference from manipulation. As good as this is now, I expect this to hold and improve for 3-5 years. Buy one now to try and another to cellar. Tasted Feb 2013.
zesty is a good word, neither tannins nor acids are not overbearing, long lasting finish, very nice taste/value
At $14.95, this may be the value pick of the release. Full of ripe fruit but not jammy. It's very smooth and easy to drink.
Prunes, floral notes, and pepper on the nose. Maturing fruit, with some green tannins, and a slight bitterness on the palate.
