This has a quite amazing, lifted nose. The cassis fruit is almost shockingly pure. It's full bodied, thick, sweet and rich yet diced by sour-edged acidity. The length is excellent; the tannins are soft; the finish holds a trace of saltiness. You'll it or hate it with such strident flavour profile. Simple, minty, jammy shiraz here, with generous alcohol (14.5%) on the label, firm, hard tannins and salty-acid taste...

Great nose. Full bodied and very soft and juicy with a nice long finish. Will definitely buy again.

Really salty. So much so that it was tough to finish the bottle. I wonder if this was made for the American market.
