Domaine Ruet Les Grands Cras Morgon 2011, Ac
Beaujolais
Beaujolais, France
$19.95 (299883)
Cru Beaujolais from Morgon features terrific aromas of blueberry, plum, marasca cherry and spice cupboard. Dry with a lot of plummy/berry-cherry fruit on the palate. There’s a tangy acidity that brings the wine into perfect alignment, and a great delivery of fruit and grippy, youthful tannins on the finale. Cellar it 1-3 years, or enjoy it tonight with beef bourguignon. (VINTAGES panel, May 2012)Critic Reviews (2)
