Vouvray is the French homeland of chenin blanc , and this is a good example. It sports a generous, ripe nose of chenin blanc’s pear/quince fruit, honey, dried sage and mushroom. It’s medium weight, smooth and slightly sweet, but nicely balanced by honey mustard sourness on the finish. Chill well; roast pork or ham. David Lawrason, Toronto Life Eating and Drinking Guide 2012
