The nose offers an unmistakeable burgundy funk that I adore...violets, red roses, roasted red beets, sugar cane, rocky minerals with hints of marshmallow and mushrooms. The nose is wild and exotic. The palate is supple, soft and clean with noticeable tannin bringing impeccable structure to the wine. It finishes with loads of red beets. I absolutely loved it!

A fine example of how masculine and powerful Cru Beauj can be. Pouring a deep purple-ruby, initially the nose is a bit tight, but look for aromas of smoke, earth and red berries. Medium bodied with fine, but grippy, tannins on the palate with earthy flavours of dark berries, dried herbs, clay and spice with a bitter cranberry finish. Put it down for another couple of years and pair with cured meats or braised chicken thighs.

Low intensity aromas of cherry, strawberry and mild spice. Light- to medium-bodied with pleasant aroma replays. Balanced overall with integrated tannins and a medium-long finish. Could be cellared 1-2 years, but enjoyable now.
