It's only wine but I like it
80% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in larger barrels. Floral and red fruit aromas. Dense on the palate, with lively flavours of sour cherries, currants and earth and fine acidity. Unmistakeably Tuscan. At 7 years of age, still firmly stucture and will benefit from more time. This will keep at least another 5 years, but wonderful now. An authentic and pure expression of Sangovese and Tuscany and superb value. Tasted Oct 2012.
