Instant on to the favourites list, amazing for the cost.
Mint, blackberrty, spices, blackcurrant, and cedar on the nose. Plenty of ripe fruit on this medium-bodied wine. Soft tannins, but the alcohol stands out a bit.
nice for the price.
Dark fruit filled nose for this cherry coloured juicy wine. Medium length, rounded, with tannins only making a guest appearance. Very tasty but some heat on the finish that is somewhat diminished when briefly chilled. A nice sipper but also a good playmate for a wide range of vittles. Unbeatable value at $10 (currently on sale at LCBO). Feb 2013.
