Clean, ripe, balanced, very much a 2010 Niagara chardonnay in style, with soft orchard fruit, peach and pear...
This rich chardonnay has a very buttery, apple pie and spicy nutmeg aroma with considerable wood and some jasmine...

Like a ripe apple clafoutis - sweet apple, pear, pineapple, and creamy notes dominate the nose and palate. I can't stop thinking about apple and cream based desserts when I drink this. When winemaker Derek Barnett confirmed that the wine was left on the lees for 8 months, it made perfect sense. Medium bodied and luscious, the definite citrus/acidic core cuts through the creamy fruit and refreshes the palate. The finish is long and both tart apple and buttery at the same time. Would pair nicely with muenstrella chicken.

From the very good 2010 vintage. Yellow apple and tropical fruit aromas from the cork. Fresh, ripe aromas of tropical fruits (pineapple), apple, butter, popcorn, and hints of barnyard on the nose. Medium-bodied and a crisp mouthfeel with flavours of butterscotch, apple, and tangy tropical notes. Slight creaminess on the mid-palate. Hints of smoke on the long, smooth finish. Delicious! Enjoyed with homemade Halibut and Chips and Onion Rings. Tasted July/2013.
