It was a good vintage in the Okanagan, and this very impressive merlot shows lovely ripe raspberry fruit with herbs,...

Amazing poise in this wine. Gorgeous layered nose of raspberry and blackberry and earthy spice with a touch of vanilla. The palate is silky but with concentrated berry, herb, and spice. It's very nicely balanced with a warm, lengthy finish of fruit and spice. The tannins are a bit green but it's drinking very well. I enjoyed with venison and pork tourtière and it was synergistic match. Great to see reasonably priced Canadian wines achieving this level of sophistication.
