A value-priced Cotes du Rhone from the LCBO general list. Good red fruit, with notes of pepper and herbs. Very decent complexity and regional character for a $13 wine. Ready to drink or can hold short term. Very fine value. Tasted May 2012.
No amount of decanting will soften this sour vinegar. The only way to attain satisfaction is in the careful pouring of this wine. I suggest slowly pouring about half a metre above the toilet, careful not to splash any onto the floor, and give a good flush at the end. Return your bottle to the LCBO and you are down only $12.70.
Don't waste your money and health on this vinegar. It is lower than average. One of the worst wine ever drank. 9 Feb 2013
