Hands down the best Gewurzt we've ever had. I've got he official go ahead to buy more. A wonderfully rich and balanced wine. Oh, and it's less than 20 bucks.
Still Fantastic and holding after all this time, but softer and not as perfumed
A great wine
beautiful, prototypical Alsace Gewertz.
The classic recipe for Gewurztraminer, showing floral and lychee notes with hints of spice and balanced by a refreshing citrus zest. You really can’t go wrong here; sip this solo or with a variety of food choices including Asian cuisine. Delicious!
Tasted May 2012.

Golden yellow in colour, with notable vicousness. Rich and mouth filling, with loads of tropical fruit. Hints of lemon and finishes with some sweetness. But all is in fine balance due to good acidity. Excellent wine and a great match to spicy foods. Tasted July 2012.
The 2010 Helfrich Gewurztraminer is a medium bodied, fruity wine, with intense aromas of honey, Muscat and lily. It has a distinct minerality and a medium, sweet finish. Drink-how: it is enjoyable as an aperitif - one glass at a time due to its sweetness. My impression: NICE, 89 pts Tasted Aug/12.
