Love this one!
Crowd pleaser. Nice Red, but just okay to me and not worth the $16... Maybe $11
~ Tasted June 2012
Can seem a little sweet to some. If you find old vine Zin to harsh then Apothic is your choice. Easy to sip and also good as a dinner wine
Intense and sweet aromas of blackberries and vanilla. Inky dark, but a vibrant purple-magenta meniscus. No surprises on the palate, the taste is dominated by jammy red and blackberries and vanilla. Structurally, medium body, and almost non-existant tannins.
I found this wine a little to sweet for my tastes. Reminded me of another overly sweet, Californian blend Cupcake.
Tasted March 2012.

not worth the price. nothing special
This is an inky, dark purple wine with oaky, vanilla and liquorice aromas, some dark cherry and blackberry fruit and an almost sweet, nutmeg-tinged finish. If you like your wine full and lush, you'll like this.
