Vibrant magenta meniscus, showing off its youth. Aromas of plum and blackberries waft out of the glass, with hints of graphite minerality and oak. On the palate the wine is dry, with minimal tannins. Flavours of plum, vanilla are dominant. I found this wine a little on the hot side (14.9%!!).

I loved the previous vintages of this mid-priced general lister, but the 2010 is not in the same league. Much lighter than it's previous outings.
