The best Australian wine I've tasted in a long time. Wonderful complexity with black fruits, fresh violets, spice, and minerality. It has a great full mouthfeel that's plush and smooth, but with balancing acidity that prevents this wine from becoming unctuous or too jammy. Well worth the $35.
A nice balance between Barossa Shiraz and Rhone Syrah. Concentrated bold fruit but some elegance as well. Earthy, savoury, spicy, peppery. Nicely balanced with excellent length. A great BBQ wine. August 2014.
Fine wine, robust but not as fruity as I would expect from an Aussie.
