The 2010 Villa Regia has notes of raspberry, oak and lees. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine, with good acidity, refined tannins and a medium finish. Drink with food; now - 2016. My impression: NOTHING SPECIAL, 87 pts. Tasted in Apr/13.

Very simple red. Lots of red fruit, particularly strawberries. Slight hint of vanilla on the palate. While I wouldn't suggest it for a heavy meal, for a summer day by the pool... It's a good easy drinking red, maybe even serve chilled!
Tasted June 2012.
Simple red, with simple red fruit flavours and a touch of vanilla, Rather hollow with a very sour, thankfully short finish. About what one might expect from a $8 wine. Drink now. Tasted March 2012.
A simple well structured midweight red with red fruits, black berries and some firm tannin. Hints of vanilla. Smooth finish and good length.
Tasted October 2012.
