The 2011 Goats Do Roam White is a light to medium bodied wine with notes of citrus, green apple and green pear. It is bit sweet and has a medium finish. My impression: NICE, 87 pts – good value, though not the best. Tasted Jan/12.

I tasted this wine with the creator and owner, Charles Back. It’s crafted with the same grape varieties as wine from his favorite French region “Cote de Rhone”. Its like a first date with a small town girl. It smells pretty good, its not complicated or bright, and it would blend nicely with a picnic. Keep a few of these in the fridge to help you get to second base.

Medium straw colour with medium+ intensity.
Positives: Lemon, peach pit, pear, pineapple & apricots. Medium minus body with high acidity & a fairly long length.
Negatives: A little too tart.
Drink now with lemon-pepper catfish.
