Château De La Saule Montagny 1er Cru 2009, Côte Chalonnaise
Chardonnay
Burgundy, France
$24.95 (241273)
This wine is a nice introduction to the world of premium white Burgundy. Lovely aromas of citrus and caramel with lifted floral tones make for an inviting and very enjoyable nose. The palate is dry, medium bodied with nice weight and texture. Sports citrus and white fruit and quite a long finish. Very well priced and very approachable. Enjoy this with an oven-baked trout with lemonand-dill stuffing. (VINTAGES panel, Jan. 2011)Critic Reviews (2)
