Union Red 2009, Ontario VQA
Red Blend
Ontario, Canada
$13.95 (197152)
Ideally suited to red meats from the BBQ, pastas, tapas and premium Ontario cheeses. Union’s 4 grape blend results in a complex taste that makes it an excellent food wine, while its superb balance enables it to also be enjoyed on its own. The Stelcap closure allows convenient opening, without the fear of a “corked” bottle spoiling your wine experience.Critic Reviews (2)

This blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Merlot is fairly light and crisp with bright cherry fruit, a little earth, and some sweet spice on the nose; juicy and vibrant on the palate with a very soft tannic finish. I liked it a little chilled and with my pot roast dinner.
